The best Shopify Capital alternatives depend on how much cash you need and how you get paid. Compare Fundo for smaller cash gaps, PayPal Working Capital for eligible PayPal sales, and Bluevine for a credit line you can use more than once. Fundo offers $500 to $10,000 in revenue-based funding, subject to approval. Check each option’s entry rules, full cost, and payment dates.

Which option fits your store?

This comparison covers U.S. programs. Terms checked October 28, 2026. Requirements, costs, and payment terms may change.

Option Starting checks Cost Payment terms
Fundo Three months in business. $1,500 average monthly revenue. Bank and cash flow review. Your offer sets the future receipts sold and fees. Bank debits under your agreement. Ask how to request an adjustment.
PayPal Working Capital PayPal Business account for at least 90 days. At least $15,000 in annual PayPal sales. An existing Working Capital balance normally must be paid off, unless you receive an invitation to refinance early. One quoted fixed fee added to the funding amount. A share of PayPal sales. Minimum every 90 days: 5% of the combined funding amount and fixed fee for estimated payoff periods of 12 months or longer; 10% for shorter estimates.
Bluevine Line of Credit LLC or corporation. At least 12 months in business. $10,000 monthly revenue. Personal FICO of 625 or higher. $2,000 average bank balance. Fees are shown before each draw. Set weekly or monthly payments, based on the approved plan.

These are starting rules; approval and state limits still apply. PayPal’s figures above apply to Business accounts. Its Premier accounts have a higher annual PayPal sales requirement of $20,000.

Fundo buys future business sales receipts. That amount differs from the cash you receive. Do not assume its bank debits change on their own when sales fall.

What would you be replacing?

Terms checked October 28, 2026. Shopify Capital’s U.S. terms include fixed-fee and monthly-fee plans.

A fixed-fee plan has one borrowing fee. A monthly-fee plan charges a fee each month, in addition to payments from daily sales. With monthly fees, keeping the balance open longer increases the total cost.

The maximum term is 18 months. Minimum payment checks apply at six and 12 months. A sales-based payment does not remove those deadlines.

Compare the full cost before the payment rate

A share of sales is a payment method. It does not tell you the funding price. Compare offers that put the same amount in your bank.

For a made-up example, a 10% collection rate takes $100 from $1,000 in sales. It does not mean the funding costs 10%. Ask for the total dollar cost and the dates money must leave your account.

Check these details before you sign:

  • How much cash will reach your bank after fees?
  • What minimum is due if sales slow down?
  • Does paying early cut the cost?
  • Are assets pledged, or is a personal guarantee required?

For example, Bluevine’s pricing guide says its plan with 12 weekly payments has a fixed fee. Paying early does not reduce that plan’s total interest.

Match the funds to a clear expense. If you need stock, use our inventory funding guide to check the order size first.

Can I apply elsewhere without a Shopify offer?

Yes. A Shopify Capital offer is needed to apply through Shopify. The alternatives above have their own rules.

PayPal needs a closer check. U.S. Shopify PayPal Wallet payouts run through Shopify Payments. Confirm with PayPal which sales count before relying on this option. Do not assume your full store revenue qualifies.
