Amazon seller financing can help fund stock and other business costs. Options include revenue-based financing, a line of credit, and offers through Amazon’s funding partners. Steady sales help, but approval is not based on sales alone. Fundo offers $500 to $10,000. Its starting checks include $1,500 in average monthly revenue and three months in business. It also reviews bank activity and cash flow.
Your store can be busy while your bank balance feels tight. Stock, ads, and shipping need cash before the next payout. The goal is to find funding that fits that gap without creating a larger one.
Can Amazon sellers qualify for funding from Fundo?
Yes. Fundo lists Amazon sellers among the businesses it serves. Each business still needs to pass review. Start with these checks.
| What Fundo checks | What you need |
|---|---|
| Monthly revenue | At least $1,500 on average. |
| Time in business | At least three months. |
| Bank balance | At least $75 at the time of review, per Fundo’s published bank-balance rule. |
| Account activity | Steady activity in a bank account Fundo accepts. |
| Bank checks | An approved service, such as Plaid. |
| Use of funds | Business costs. |
| Funding amount | $500 to $10,000, subject to approval. |
These are starting checks, not an offer. Fundo also checks bank deposits, balances, cash flow, and other payments due.
Ask Fundo whether your payout schedule meets its current deposit rules. You may make sales each day but receive funds less often. This matters when the review is based on bank records.
Read Fundo’s funding requirements and check its list of unsupported banks. Fundo does not fund Chime accounts.
Why do Amazon sales differ from cash you can use?
Your sales total is not the amount you can spend today. Amazon explains this in its guide, How Amazon seller payments work. Fees, refunds, and funds held in reserve can reduce or delay payouts. Bank transfers can also take time.
Check the Payments Dashboard in Seller Central. Compare your expected payout with the dates your stock, freight, and ad bills are due. Do not build a payment plan around money that has not cleared.
Also, trace how the funds reach your bank. If you move the same payout between accounts, do not count that transfer as a second sale. Clear records help explain your real cash flow.
A short gap between a bill and a payout differs from a store that loses money on each sale. Funding can add cash. It cannot fix weak margins, slow stock, or ads that cost more than they earn.
Which Amazon seller financing options should you compare?

Start with the expense and the time you need to cover it. Then compare the full cost and the way payments are collected.
| Funding route | What the review looks at | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Fundo revenue-based financing | Sales, bank records, and cash flow. | Funds received, future receipts sold, fees, and bank-debit terms. |
| Offers through Amazon’s partners | An offer to apply and the partner’s checks. | The product, costs, and payment dates. |
| Business line of credit | The provider’s credit and business checks. | Draw costs, rates, fees, and required payments. |
| Inventory-backed funding | Stock the provider accepts and what it is worth. | What stock is pledged and how the terms fit sales. |
| Supplier payment terms | The supplier’s agreement to let you pay later. | Due dates, fees, and any lost upfront discount. |
Amazon’s Amazon Lending program page explains that it connects eligible sellers with third-party funding providers. Depending on the offer, choices can include term funding, merchant cash advances, or credit lines. An invitation lets you apply; it is not final approval.
You can also apply to Fundo on its own. With its revenue-based financing, you sell future business sales receipts for cash now. The terms set out the amount of future receipts sold.
That “future receipts sold” figure is not the cash placed in your bank. Read it with the full fee list and bank-debit terms. The signed agreement sets how Fundo collects funds.
If the bill can wait, ask the supplier for more time before you pay a fee for new funds. If you need stock now, compare its expected profit with the full funding cost.
If you also sell through Shopify, ask which options can review sales from both channels.
How much funding fits your store’s cash flow?
Start with the smallest amount that solves a clear business need. A larger offer is not always a better fit.
For example, say a seller needs $2,000 to restock a product that sells well. This is a made-up example, not a Fundo offer or a way to predict approval.
It covers one payout cycle. It leaves out cash already in the bank and sums released from older reserves.
| Cash planning step | Example |
|---|---|
| Gross sales during the period | $8,000 |
| Fees, refunds, and cash held back | −$2,000 |
| Cash received in the bank | $6,000 |
| Other business costs due | −$4,800 |
| Cash left before new funding payments | $1,200 |
The seller has $1,200 left, not $8,000 to put toward new payments. Even that amount may need to cover taxes, returns, and a cash buffer.
Next, test a weaker sales period or a delayed payout. Would the funding still fit? Would you need to delay another bill?
For stock purchases, allow for shipping and the time it takes to sell the goods. Base your plan on recent unit sales, not just your best holiday week. Slow stock can tie up cash long after the bill is due.
For ads, set a clear budget and a stop point if sales do not cover the spend. For refunds and returns, keep cash in reserve. One bad week should not force you to seek more funds just to meet the first set of terms.
Revenue alone does not determine the amount Fundo may offer. Its guide to how monthly revenue is reviewed explains why two stores with similar sales can get different decisions.
What should you check before accepting an offer?
Put each offer on the same page. Ask these questions before you sign:
- How much cash will reach my bank after any upfront fees?
- What is the full amount to be paid or collected?
- When do payments start, and how often are they due?
- What happens if sales drop or a payout arrives late?
- Are there extra fees, pledged assets, or personal guarantees?
- Does paying early reduce the cost?
For Fundo, review the bank-debit terms and ask how to request a payment adjustment if revenue changes. Do not assume debits change on their own.
Also, compare total dollar costs over a similar period. A flat fee and an annual interest rate measure different things. A small-looking percentage does not tell you the full cost.
For example, $2,000 received and $2,500 collected means a $500 cost if there are no other fees. That is not the same as a 25% annual rate. How soon the funds must be paid back still matters.
A quick process can still come with a high cost. If the plan only works in your best sales week, it is too tight.
How do Amazon sellers apply with Fundo?

Fundo’s application process starts online. Prepare your basic business details and the bank account that shows your business income.
- State how much funding you need and the business expense it will cover.
- Share the details Fundo asks for and complete its bank check.
- Answer any questions about deposits, cash flow, or other payments due.
- If approved, review the amount, costs, and collection terms before accepting.
Keep recent sales and payout records handy. Your bank data and Seller Central totals may differ for valid reasons. Be ready to explain why.
Amazon seller financing FAQs
Can I apply without an invitation from Amazon?
Yes. You can apply to Fundo without an Amazon funding invite. Fundo uses its own business and bank review. You still need to meet its terms.
Does Fundo require a minimum FICO score?
Fundo does not list a minimum FICO score in its starting rules. Revenue, bank activity, and other checks still matter. The Plaid bank connection itself does not lower your credit score.
Do I need an LLC or a business checking account?
Fundo accepts eligible sole proprietors, so an LLC is not always needed. A personal checking account can qualify in some cases. Fundo must accept the bank, and the account must pass review.
Does using Amazon FBA guarantee funding?
No. Fulfillment by Amazon deals with how orders are handled. It does not replace checks of your business, cash flow, and ability to meet the funding terms.
How fast can I receive funds?
Fundo’s How It Works page states that same-day funding is available until 3 p.m. ET, subject to review and approval. Timing is not guaranteed. Do not commit to a purchase before your funds arrive.
